From Kneeland, CA, Leonard Rousseau makes orthotics for a living while carving in his spare time. Inspired by Jett Brunet, his emphasis in his carving is on achieving a “softness” in his texturing and feather work. Rousseau was a first-time World Champion carver in 2018 with his pair of Life-Size Gadwalls, and from 2018-2019 won World Champion pairs and 2024 World Interpretive.
