Capt. Ben Dye

Ben Dye was a fisherman and hunter that carved hand-made decoys according to the classic Chesapeake Bay style. Some decoys he kept for himself, but the others he sold to guides and hunters. Ben Dye’s son, Joseph E., remains a better known carver than his father.
