Jerry grew up in the northwest were he spent numerous days in and around nature. During this time he grew to have an appreciation of and involvement in art with his many days and nights painting and exploring other mediums.
It was in 1993 that he found woodcarving to be a perfect medium to express his artistic talents, attention to detail and love of wildlife together. Since his first competition in 1994, Jerry has competed regularly at top-level bird carving shows around the country.
