Paul Dobrowski

Paul Dobrowski developed a love for water after spending much of his childhood exploring the Shrewsbury and Navasink Rivers, as well as the larger Raritan Bay and nearby Atlantic Ocean.  His interest in decoy carving comes from his dissatisfaction with the equipment available for him to hunt with in New Jersey.  As a competitive carver, Dobrowski has produced many award winning birds at most of the major contests.  He attribute his skill at decorative caring to hours spent observing wild birds in their natural habitat.  He is affiliated with the New Jersey Waterfowl Association, where he is known as the “Decoy Doctor.”  He also gives back to the community through his work, being involved in the youth centered Ducks Unlimited Greenwing program and participating in state sponsored banding projects.
