Randy Tull was a pioneer decorative decoy carver whose early career is deeply intertwined with the renewed interest in folk art in the mid-twentieth century United States. Tull’s work was featured in the early decoy collecting publications that appeared across the country at this time and he was a frequent contestant in decoy contests. His pieces were often award winning and he claimed World and National Championship titles with his intricate and life-like decoys.
