Russ Burr

Russ Burr was born in 1887 and spent almost his whole life in Hingham, Massachusetts. He carved mostly miniatures, many of which still exist today. He carved for pleasure and gave many of his decoys to his friends to hunt with even though he was not an avid hunter himself. He made many miniatures (in singles, pairs, standing, sitting and flying.) Burr died in 1955.
